Door Hanging
Volunteers distributing Zenzele Consignment door hangers for MLK Day of Service

Bring some friends along while you volunteer and get to know Huntsville! Zenzele Consignment is looking for volunteers to make a weekly commitment to taking our store flyers and non-profit program flyers all over the city.

You would be postering, door-hanging, and leafleting on designated routes to promote our nonprofit consignment store in support of African development projects. We ask that our volunteers take out flyer about our current local program: Zenzele Consignment, Northwood Community Garden, and COVID-19 TeleHealth Program. You can hang them front door on homes, in store windows and on bulletins in all kind of businesses.

We have route lists, posters and flyers, you just show up ready to walk! We'll match you with a partner a few times, and then if it's a good fit you can do it on your own. It might be the most flexible volunteer job ever.

And don't feel like you're not making a difference- your work gets results. We get consignments, volunteers, donors, and shoppers from hanging these posters and flyers!

Zenzele Consignment is located at 2205-F University Dr., Huntsville, AL 35816. We hold volunteer orientations every Tuesday night from 6:30- 6:45pm CST via Zoom. You also can come into the store to sign up for the volunteer orientation, or you can email us at Huntsville@UhuruVolunteer.org once we get your response or email we will send you the Zoom link.
