ORGANIZATION: Hark-ALS/Girls on the Run of Central NJ

Girls on the Run

*Responsible for Social Media content/posts according to their assigned county.

*Utilize the following GOTRCNJ platforms: FB, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, You Tube.

*Evaluate need for TikTok and other new platforms

*End goal of Social Media activities is to assist with GOTRCNJ Brand Awareness (media influencers, downtown alliances, schools, rec departments, municipal and county parks etc.), Coach Recruiting, Participant Recruiting and 5K Race Day Awareness. (follow social media guidelines as set for by Girls on the Run International (GOTRI). Utilize GOTRI driven campaigns as needed.

*Knowledge of Social Media Analytics Tracking and Reporting a plus.

*Knowledge of Hootesuite(r) platform to plan SM schedule a plus.

*Strategize with GOTR staff and create campaigns and hashtags that represent our brand, recruitment of coaches/girls and race day awareness.

*Post live from our 5K fall and spring race days including videos and photos. (if intern is available)

*Ensure that any SM messaging is responded to or passed along to the appropriate GOTRCNJ staff member

*Visit (connect with) sites and get testimonials from girls, parents and coaches.

Description

At Girls on the Run we inspire ALL girls to build confidence and make intentional decisions, while fostering care and compassion for self and others. Trained coaches use physical activity and dynamic discussions to build social, emotional and physical skills in every girl while encouraging healthy habits for life.
