Phinney's believes in keeping people and their beloved pets together. We do this by extending a helping hand to pet parents in need.
Overview
If you have a public relations background or just generally like to talk up all the good Phinney’s does for our clients and their pets, we want to hear from you!We are looking to grow our outreach to local newspapers (Massachusetts), event listing sites, and radio and TV stations and need dedicated volunteers to call on editors and producers to get the word about specific PR campaigns designed to promote the mission, fundraising efforts, client profiles, and more.
We are also looking to expand our media list, so you could help us build out our list of contacts if you’re interested in doing that, too.
This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity, done from home. So you need to be very good at keeping with your promises and working on your own. You will work with some pretty enthusiastic Directors on this, so it will be great if you share the same enthusiasm for our mission - to keep pet owners and their beloved pets together, so we can avoid unnecessary shelter surrenders.
