Our need for volunteers is constant and continues to evolve as we navigate this health crisis.
Please rest assured that we are working with public health officials to help keep local communities and our volunteers safe. Volunteer opportunities include supporting residents by visiting them within a nursing community. To provide caring support to the patient. Volunteer may play games (cards, chess, bingo). Volunteer may read to patient, or provide listening and companionship for an hour or two a week.
If volunteer is gifted musically, s/he can play music and sing.
* Currently accepting applications and training. In facility visitation available soon.

Description
We provide many diverse types of volunteerism. Volunteers may assist with putting together admission binders, light filing, bereavement mailings /cards and seasonal and special projects as they arise. This is great for someone who wants to contribute by donating their time and talents, but not necessarily wanting personal patient contact.
OR
Volunteers wanting to visit with Hospice patients to provide caring support to the patient. Volunteers may play games (cards, chess, bingo). Volunteer may read, or provide listening and companionship for an hour or two a week. If volunteer is gifted musically, s/he can play music and sing.
AND
We also do really fun stuff too! Blizzard Day at the local DQ! Paint Party at the office! Arts and Crafts! I make sure to do PIZZA PARTY at least once a year.
