JOIN OUR BOARD

We are seeking volunteer board members who are not only inspired and motivated by our mission but also have significant time, resources, and networks to commit to Family Holiday Promise. Notably, we are looking for board members who are driven to help us grow so we can help more kids in need. We also have openings on committees and on our advisory board.

Board Members will support and directly contribute to fundraising activities through participation in fundraising strategy development and targeted donor engagement. Board Members will make Family Holiday Promise a philanthropic priority; so that we can credibly solicit contributions from foundations, organizations, and individuals.

The Board is a working board, and the organization’s success relies on board involvement and contribution. Board members serve a three-year term. Board members donate their time and serve without pay.

Mission Statement

OUR MISSION: At Family Holiday Promise it is our mission to enable children in Colorado to experience the joys of childhood and experience the promise of the holidays despite their circumstances. We want to serve as the light of hope in these children and their families' lives during a time that may seem hopeless and offer a sense of normalcy in a time that may be anything but.

Description

Family Holiday Promise is dedicated to helping children living in poverty or at shelters or who have experienced a recent trauma, are neglected or abused - kids in need.

We recognize that the holidays can be a stressful time of the year for struggling families. We want to reduce stress and empower families with our year-round holiday programs for Valentine's Day, Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. Participating in the holidays helps build bonds with families and communities. Building a series of rituals around holidays allows families to express their values and create memories that last a lifetime.

Family Holiday Promise wants every child to feel the love, joy, and spirit of the holidays to make every holiday positive, happy, and hopeful.
