Senior Center of Boulder City receives bread donations from Panera Bread at Mall Ring Circle, in Henderson, for senior distribution on Monday nights weekly.
SCBC is looking for 3 volunteers who'd be willing to drive to Panera when they close at 9pm to pick up the donations and bring back to the senior center. (arrive to Panera about 9:30pm to give the staff time to bag up the donations from that day).
Sometimes the bags of bread are quite heavy so volunteer should be able to lift at least 40-50 lbs and have own transportation. The whole process takes about an hour- an hour and a half.
Usually 1 volunteer per week picks up these donations, but if willing to do multiple that is great too!
