Resident assistants are mentors and role models to our residents. They develop professional relationships with residents and have regular one-on-one interactions to get to know each resident individually. A Resident Assistant encourages each resident to reach their goals, abilities, and potential for achievement. She provides support, encouragement and leadership to the residents. She also makes sure the resident is doing what she is supposed to such as chores, cooking, etc.
