Destiny Outreach Center is searching for a treasurer for our Board of Directors. The treasurer position duties will include but are not limited to: bookkeeping, reconciling bank statements, managing cash flow, create and maintain systems for ensuring the organization’s ongoing solvency and oversee the development of the organization’s financial policies. The treasurer will prepare, or facilitate the preparation of an annual budget, as well as regularly monitor and compare the actual revenues and expenses incurred against such budget. An effective treasurer will be able to develop and enforce internal financial controls and policies, ensure accurate and complete financial reporting and maintain and file tax returns; in addition to assessing and mitigating financial risks. The treasurer will attend board meetings and help fundraise alongside other board members.

The ideal candidate may have a degree in accounting or finance but not necessary. Previous work within the non-profit sector is preferred but not absolutely necessary.
