Our Summits are multidisciplinary symposiums that provide a unique opportunity for professionals across all disciplines and philosophies to gather for in-depth exchange of current information on all facets of violence, abuse and trauma prevention, intervention and research. Our event is a hybrid of research sessions, advanced clinical workshops, personal case histories, poster sessions, and networking opportunities. Every year, we attract over a 1000 attendees, hundreds of speakers, and industry stakeholders from across the world. Volunteers will get an opportunity to meet and interact with healthcare workers, professors, social workers and other key industry stakeholders.

The Family Violence & Sexual Assault Institute (FVSAI) DBA Institute on Violence, Abuse & Trauma (IVAT) strives to be a comprehensive training and research center addressing interpersonal violence and the implications of trauma. We strive to bridge the gaps between policy, practice and research, and help improve current systems of care by providing direct professional services, program evaluations, consultations and trainings.
