Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters (JBBBS) is seeking a Big Brother for Zach, an 11 yo boy who lives on the North Shore and who loves computers, coding, Roblox, Nerf wars, and listening to Hamilton. Zach has an autism diagnosis and is integrated into a typical classroom at a small school. He is sweet and has several good friends who he sees regularly. Zach is looking for a male role model (21+) who will share his interests and will help him navigate all the changes that come with pre-adolescence and adolescence; changes that are particularly challenging for a child on the spectrum. Zach is Jewish but the Big Brother can be any religion and any age 21+. The BIG needs to be tech savvy and have some understanding or experience with a child who has autism spectrum disorder. Matches agree to meet 2x/mo for 2-4 hours, mostly weekends, and make at least a year commitment. Car and valid license required. Match support provided by Clinical Match Specialists.
