We, The World

WE Text Logo

Our Human Rights theme is in the process of creating a program that is dedicated to fostering connection and support in communities who have been historically oppressed. The communities of focus are the LGBTQ+, BIPOC and disabled communities

This will be a program under the We, The World organization and its Human Rights theme. With the tentative name M.A.S.K. - Rethinking community our mission statement is "M.A.S.K has four goals: mentorship, affirmation, scholarship and knowledge. For community members to remove the masks society has forced them to wear in order to fit in and prosper in society. No longer letting society force them to conform to cisgender, heterosexual, white norms; to no longer be silenced. M.A.S.K.'s three programs strive to give community members the access to equal financial, material and emotional support that they have been denied for hundreds of years. We foster education through our communities partnering with allies to come together to fight injustice."

We have a lot of opportunities to help with this program including: website designing, website development, partner outreach, research, focus groups for each community, grant writers, fundraisers, program management, marketing and more!

People from the LGBTQ+, BIPOC and disabled communities strongly encouraged to apply. Let's do together what WE can't do alone!
