During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
We work outdoors, wearing masks and maintaining a minimum of 6ft. of distance between us. That is easy, as it is a large property.
Join us at The Farmette! We are a 1/4 acre educational farm at The Denver Jewish Day School, and we invite members of the Denver community to help us maintain and care for that space.
Volunteer jobs vary, depending on the needs of the season, but there are opportunities year-round. We try to match jobs to our volunteer's abilities and interests. There are light work tasks and heavy work tasks.
Contact us to arrange specific times to volunteer. THank you!

The Farmette at Denver JDS is a 1/4 acre educational farm that relies on volunteer power to maintain the gardens, care for our chickens and goats, harvest for the food bank and build community.
We offer education during the school day related to agriculture, sustainability and animal care. We offer afterschool enrichment classes in cooking, gardening and animal care. We run summer farm camps for kids all over southeast Denver. We offer volunteer opportunitties for adults, kids, families, students and seniors.
Examples of volunteer opportunities vary wildly from weeding, planting, harvesting, amending soil and composting to painting, construction, hoof trimming, feeding and caring for animals, make beautiful bouquets and more.
We'll work with your schedule.
