The Executive Assistant will aid the executive director with various tasks to fulfill the mission of Focus Our Future Inc. Our mission is to prepare athletes for life after sport for the betterment of communities around the world. Some tasks for this role include administrative tasks, record keeping, client and member engagement, and project completion. The Executive Assistant will be asked to interact with Focus Our Future Inc. staff, community leaders, clients, members, and organizational partners through phone, computer and video conferencing at minimum. This role reports directly to the executive director. We are looking for a reliable and dependable individual who is organized, articulate, a people-person and, most importantly, willing to assist our growing organization.

Focus Our Future, Inc. is a non-profit organization that helps student-athletes prepare for life after sport for the betterment of communities around the world. Our goal is to offer services that assist student-athletes with their transition from sport to life after sport by exercising our organizational values to be the B.E.S.T. In 2013, Greg Ford challenged Kevin Watson, a young aspiring Track and Field coach, former student-athlete and working professional, to make a difference in the lives of the student-athletes that he trains. Greg not only called Kevin to help athletes in sport but assist the athletes outside of the sport. After some consideration, Kevin became inspired to support student-athletes in and out of their respective sports. A decision was made to create an organization that would address the needs of student-athletes while they are in school and after they finish participating in their respective sports. Today, Focus Our Future, Inc. exists with the Focus Our Future(r) Program. We have received acknowledgement from Jennifer McClellan, member of the Senate of Virginia 9th District, for the leadership of our Focus Our Future(r) Program.
