Preferred hospice is in need of volunteers willing to assist our office and administrative staff with their needs. From making copies, writing cards, to putting together patient kits, we have plenty of opportunities for you. Preferred Hospice will reimburse your gas mileage. We require a short application, background check and orientation process. We also require a drug screen, TB test and covid testing. Description
Preferred Hospice is a Missouri-based company comprised of a multidisciplinary team of Healthcare workers who specialize in end-of-life care. Among the senior team are Physician and Nurses who together bring over 50 years of Healthcare experience. We serve patients within an hour radius of our home office in Ozark Missouri.
Volunteers are essential to the Preferred Hospice Team. Direct Patient Volunteers provide companionship to patients while offering emotional support and comfort. Direct Patient Volunteers may also provide respite and assistance to patient caregivers. Office and Administrative Volunteers assist the office staff with many things from mail outs to data entry. Training, education, and mileage reimbursement is provided.
