The trail team volunteers help Prescott Farm to maintain our property for visitors and program goers to enjoy. Our surrounding natural property allows us to engage thousands of program participants with a wide range of programs designed to preserve and pass down knowledge and skills that encourage an understanding of the natural systems that sustain us all and respect for the environment. The trail team is composed of three broad volunteer opportunities listed below:

    • Record observations of wildlife, plant species, and other notable natural changes
  • Adopt-A-Trail: walk our trails to identify and remove small debris from trails, remove litter, check trailhead signs, walking trails in the winter to pack down the snow
  • Forest management: works in conjunction with the Forest Management Committee
    • Execute and maintain forest management plan within your ability
