STAR HOSPICE PRESENTS: Caring for VETERANS and their CAREGIVERS
OUR VETERAN AND CAREGIVERS TREE
- To provide for veterans' essential needs and provide a gift for their caregivers in hospice, nursing homes, homeless, and so forth. These individuals are currently in Star Hospice’s care as well as other veterans/caregivers in the community.
- To offer an opportunity for COMMUNITY, INDIVIDUALS, AND FAMILIES to give back to our veterans.
- A suggested value is $20-$50 for each gift. Suggested items for veterans; socks, slippers, gloves, hats, blankets, sweet treats, water bottles with straws, etc. Suggested articles for their caregivers; anything for self-care and sweet treats, etc.
- Donate unwrapped gifts with the label "Veteran male or female" attached to the gift. Or "Caregiver male or female" attached to the gift.
- This will be a virtual "veterans" tree; we will send the gift tag through email or text message. Please call Hope Barnes at 630-777-1991 or email: hope.barnes@lhcgroup.com receive your veteran/caregiver Christmas tree tag.
- Please call Hope Barnes at 630-777-1991 or the Star Hospice office at 708-572-8266 to arrange for a drop off time or arrange a pick-up. Pick-up/drop-off schedule December 14-16, 2020.
- If you're unable to purchase items, we accept donations to buy veterans' gifts for you.
