About: Social Skills in Motion is a holistic, children, and youth-centered operation using non-traditional sports and movement-based programs as a form of prevention and intervention for inner-city children. Founded by two licensed social workers, our programs offer a unique and person-centered approach aimed to address behavioral, psychosocial, intellectual, body regulation, and communication skill development.
Opportunity Description:
Social Skills in Motion is looking for a volunteer to help assist with Instagram and Facebook. We currently utilize these two platforms and would like support with weekly postings. We want someone who will help create and post content 3-5 times weekly and help develop our page's Instagram themes. We will be sending you content related to our practice regularly to come up with aesthetically pleasing posts. We would love someone to help share tricks/tips with us for our page's future management. Lastly, we hope someone can help with the promotion of our page to help boost our viewers and connect with other IG pages.

Description
Since our pivot in 2009 from a chapter of the global network "Social Venture Partners", our mission has been to incubate and support social enterprise while simultaneously fostering a nurturing social impact ecosystem. In 2015, SEG’s relocation to our co-working space at 10 Davol Square, The SEG Hub, transformed the organization into the state’s leading neutral convener in the social sector. In 2016, the decision to offer programs targeting specific industries such as Food and Health & Wellness led to a significant increase in volunteers, mentors, corporate sponsors and strategic partnerships.
Today, SEG offers a robust menu of services that provide social entrepreneurs with the services they need throughout their lifecycle. We have become a trusted convener and technical assistance provider for organizations and businesses working to achieve both economic and community impact.
