The Multi-Service Center is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization addressing the causes and barriers of poverty and homelessness with comprehensive and holistic services that help to lift people from crisis and vulnerability to self-sufficiency and stability.
The Food Bank is currently operating with a drive-through format most days of the week. We are looking for volunteers for Box Making, Traffic Assistance, Market Assistant, Sorting and Organizing, Snack Box Making and Delivery and Closer. Shifts are Monday through Friday, mornings and afternoons between two to five hours and offer flexibility depending on the volunteer's schedule.
We also have opportunities with our Special Events Department (starting late 2021), and if you're looking for something long-term, our Long Term Care Ombudsman Program offers training to advocate for seniors in assisted living facilities, with a commitment of approximately four hours per week.
