Virtual Volunteer Opportunities
- Christmas Cards and Pictures - Send us Christmas Cards and Pictures. We can put them on our message boards for all to see or give individual cards to residents.
- Holiday Season Crafts - Volunteers can create holiday themed crafts for residents. (Snowflakes, Turkeys, Cornucopias, snow globes, ornaments, wreathes, window art.)
- Creating Craft Kits - Volunteer can create final craft and then a minimum of 10 kits. Minimum can be eliminated or decided on a site level. A sampling of crafts will be chosen and handouts prepared for volunteer use. (Ornaments, Sun Catchers, etc. --- Specific Kit Options with Instructional Volunteer Handouts available).
- Enhance your opportunity by making a video demo and include the url in your instruction page for residents to watch.
- Dementia Resources- Volunteers can create items to stimulate memory care residents senses. Volunteer Instructions available for each of the following crafts: Ispy jars, Glitter jars, No-Mess Paint Pads, Fidget Blankets, Fidget Pillows, etc.
