Amara Hospice is seeking compassionate individuals who want to make a difference by providing companionship visits to patients on hospice services. Volunteer companionship visits can include, but are not limited to reading with the patient, watching television or a movie, playing a game, going outside for fresh air or simply just being present and having a conversation. The volunteer visits will take place in the patients home or in local nursing facilities. There is no physical care involved. Hours are flexible.
