Blood Donor Ambassador- American Red Cross
Do you want to help save lives by supporting blood collections during the COVID-19 crisis?
Volunteers engage donors with friendly customer-focused attention by
greeting, registering, answering questions, providing information, taking temperatures before entry, and supporting them through the recovery process at the refreshments table.
Blood mobiles are at local businesses, organizations, and schools. Volunteers can also be scheduled at fixed donor sites in Durham, Cary, Raleigh, Greenville, and Wilmington.
Volunteers will be scheduled for 3-4 hour shifts according to their schedules. Must volunteer at least one shift per month.
All Personal Protective Equipment is provided, and strict safety protocol is followed by volunteers, staff, and donors.
