Role Brief: Drive top volunteer talent for Kids at Risk Action via innovative candidate attraction strategies. Find and recruit volunteers to fill vacancies needed to support ongoing projects through social media, networking, job boards, and promote our work locally within your community to connect with potentially interested candidates. A Talent Acquisition Specialist Volunteer will make it possible for KARA to maximize the impact of our mission by further developing our team of compassionate individuals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement organization talent acquisition strategy
• Develop organization policy for talent benchmarking, talent assessment, and interviewing
• Conduct sourcing activities in order to fill open positions
• Manage recruitment and selection processes (resume screening, screening calls, interviews, etc.)
• Networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities
• Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates
• Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
• Communicate regularly with the HR department to gain a clear understanding of the organization's hiring needs and goals
• Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition strategy and activities

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar relevant field
• Previous working experience preferably as a Talent Acquisition Specialist for 1-2 year(s)
• In-depth knowledge of candidate selection methods
• Solid understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
• Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
• Minimum volunteer hours expected: 5 hours per week
