We are looking for creative and patient instructors to join our fantastic artistic team in working with our new Drum Lines which serve girls and boys ages 8 to 18 until June, 2021. Our current lines are based in NJ and we are hoping to expand to NYC. In addition to competitions, the teams are being trained to perform in shows and parades. Our first performance is slated to be at the Prudential Center in early Spring.

Our teams are expected to only work virtually during December and January due to the pandemic. Currently, the schedule for the Junior Drumline (Ages 8 to 11) is Tuesdays/Fridays at 4pm. The Senior Drumline (Ages 12 to 18) will be changing their schedule before Christmas and the Boys' Drumline will also be developing their schedule before Christmas. We will examine the possibility of returning to in-person practices for February depending on safety and comfort level.

Whenever we are allowed to return indoors - our indoor practices will be held every Saturday in the downtown area of Rahway, New Jersey. Instructors who are uncomfortable with in person practices can elect to just coach online.

Your responsibility would be to prepare lesson plans designed for students who will be brand new to the art of drumming. Our students have been instructed to purchase drum pads and drum sticks for the purpose of practicing virtually. You would also work with other division coaches to prepare the company for competitions, parades and performances.

Teaching experience is not critical, but experience playing in a drum line/marching band is REQUIRED.

Interested candidates should respond letting us know about their drumming experience and any burning questions that they have. We will respond immediately. Thank you for your interest and please stay safe and sane.
