Help organize and load into vehicles, children's holiday gift wishes. Approximately 150 children with cancer and their siblings have pre-selected gift wishes that need to be identified and given to the correct family. This will occur outdoor in the parking lot so be prepared with a mask, water bottle, sunhat etc-depending on the weather forecast.

Candlelighters supports, serves and advocates for children and adolescents with cancer and other blood disorders, their families, long term survivors, bereaved families, and the professionals that care for them.

*Ease frustration and fears through shared emotions and experience
*Exchange information on research, treatment and community resources
*Break down the social and isolation of families
*Provide guidance in coping with childhood cancer's effect on a child, parent, siblings, and family
*Identify patient and family needs so that medical and social systems respond adequately
*Are an emotional support system of second families
Candlelighters is a voice in our community for pediatric cancer families and survivors to the general public, the medical community, government, schools, employers and the media.
