if you are new you must follow all 3 steps listed on the top of the volunteer page in order to participate

During the Covid pandemic we have been hosting virtual events for friends with special needs which allows them to perform individual talents and join together in groups songs. We need volunteers to join us and cheer on our All-Stars as they perform. Part of this is posting encouraging notes to the chat board about each performance... this is our All-Stars favorite part of these events and they even print the chat board to read throughout the week! We are a faith based group and do host a 5-minute devotional during these events.

*These virtual events are in place of our normal programming which included in person events offering sports, karaoke, crafts, and all sort of fun for friends with special needs all while they get 1on1 time with a volunteer buddy.

Mission Statement

Providing a place of belonging for friends with special needs along with opportunities of rest for their parents and caregivers.

Description

We aim to provide first-class experiences for individuals with special needs and their families that offer opportunities to have fun, meet new friends, and live out their Christian faith. While observing how the Church has widely underserved those with disabilities, we are working with local churches in building a grassroots effort to develop a volunteer base that is compassionate and energized about serving the needs of the special needs community. We are building this volunteer base by bringing active adults together through sports leagues and tournaments and using this as our platform to teach and mobilize caring individuals. Our volunteers comprise the engine that allows us to provide these life changing programs and offer an incredible experience on an individual, 1on1 scale.
