SEATTLE ADVOCATES FOR EDUCATION

We are looking for high school volunteers to teach an online class to middle school students!

  • Select a topic you want to teach, and we'll help you with developing a curriculum and reaching students in the Seattle area.
  • We generally look for subjects that aren't often taught in school. These might include, but aren't limited to: programming (Java or Python), creative writing, journalism, music theory etc.
  • Classes will be weekly for 8 weeks in the fall, at a time that works for you.
  • Due to COVID-19, we'll be teaching classes online through Google Classroom and Zoom - no need to leave your house!
  • Take this opportunity to share something you're passionate about to the next generation!
