We are in need of an experience teacher to aid us in creating a basic ESL Level 1 Lesson Plan. We have been blessed to have wonderful volunteer teachers over the many years, but every teacher had their own style mostly able to conduct class based on experience. So there was no weekly plan and hard when teachers are out sick or on emergencies.

We want to reach out to the community of teachers and/or retired educators. If any can help us created a comprehensive curriculum that will be benefiting so many people who want to support their families and children to continue in school. This is a free class. This class is geared for non-English speakers trying to learn and improve the English language. Below we mentioned the books we use.

In need:

  • Level 1: Lesson Plan based off of the textbooks below
  • for 13 - 14 weeks
  • Classes are are once a week
  • Including: Homework assignments and/or outsides activities to help nurture a continuous learning for full-time working adults
  • ESL Classes will be in-person only

Materials:
  • Textbook: (1) Inglés Básico: Una introducción práctica en treinta temas básicos para empezar a hablar ya!
  • . . . . or for (2) "Oxford Picture Dictionary English-Spanish: Bilingual Dictionary for Spanish speaking teenage and adult students of English (Oxford Picture Dictionary 2E)"
  • We are open to recommendations for extra materials
