Do you want to be a positive influence in the lives of children? Volunteer to assist children in K-5th grade with homework at Sun Ridge Apartment. We are looking for a volunteer to provide homework help. General support is needed in the area of Math and English. Homework help are on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday between 3:30pm -6:30pm. This is a fun opportunity to build volunteer hours, to be a positive influence in the lives of children, and to have a great time!
Requirements: Ongoing SAHA Community Volunteers must commit to volunteer once a week for a minimum of 3 months, and must complete a volunteer orientation, volunteer forms and background screening prior to beginning their placement.

Description
The purpose of the SAHA's Volunteer Program is to improve the quality of living and promote health and well-being for Satellite Housing's residents. Volunteers will help foster community by facilitating activities for the residents, such as exercise groups, art classes, discussion groups, providing health and wellness information, leading or participating in games, assisting with special events, etc. The residents really appreciate the effort that is put forth by the volunteers, and look forward to the weekly interactions.
