This holiday season is a little different for everyone this year, even more so for seniors who are isolated or feeling lonely due to COVID-19. In order to address these issues, we've decided to partner with a local community hero known as Edward Craft who had the brilliant idea of writing holiday cards to seniors in need of some inspirational holiday spirit. We're not asking much of volunteers except to send handmade or store-bought cards with personalized messages to our office. These cards don't have to be expensive or extravagant, just sent with lots of joy and holiday spirit!
Please be sure these cards have a neutral general tone as these cards will be distributed to seniors from all walks of life. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact us. We are hoping to reach a goal of 60 letters for the seniors, please don't hesitate to spread some holiday cheer this season.

Description
Our hospice agency is situated in the suburbs of Greater Houston, and we are dedicated to providing compassionate care to individuals with life-limiting illnesses. As a start-up, we are focused on building a robust volunteer program that prioritizes patient care. Our team is composed of committed individuals who genuinely desire to give back to the community. To better serve our patients, we have partnered with other social service agencies, and we strive to become a community hospice program that caters to the unique needs of each patient and their families. We are searching for individuals who share our passion for giving back and are committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.
