The Better Because Project is looking for a Digital Marketing Strategist to join our 100% volunteer-run organization. This volunteer role plays a big part in our vision of creating an open-hearted community of storytellers. Our stories of post-traumatic growth connect us. You would be a part of making that happen. Think of us as a friend with open arms and a big cup of tea.
- Do you have a knack for marketing and storytelling?
- Do you want to use your talents to make a difference in people’s lives from the comfort of your own home?
- Do you have experience with creating a digital marketing strategy from scratch? Do you have experience with content and brand strategy? Do you have experience working with social media managers to build a community on social media?
- Are you able to dedicate 3-5 hours a week?

The Better Because Collective support the personal development of adults by publishing their stories of post-traumatic growth. We want to change the conversation around mental health by sharing the positives that have come from difficult experiences.
Description
The Better Because Collective is a 100% volunteer-run mental health-focused nonprofit organization founded in January 2019. We're a small team of dedicated volunteers working remotely around the world. We're passionate about supporting people sharing their personal narratives of post-traumatic growth.
- We empower people through publishing their personal narratives of post-traumatic growth.
- We start conversations that have the power to transform perceived views of mental health experiences.
- We educate to create a more caring society.
- We're a safe inclusive space that fosters healing.
We are currently building on our team to mindfully increase our online presence, so that we can begin regular publication of stories and move towards our goals of creating community around post-traumatic growth, reaching and educating more people about post-traumatic growth, and eventually publishing a printed anthology. Now is an ideal time to join the team and build the Better Because Collective with us!
