Seeking a videographer who wants to tell the story of farmers, chefs, and food activists in Minnesota. You'll be in charge of creating a medium-form film piece showing the landscape of good work that folks are doing around food in Minnesota. You'll have creative freedom as well as mentoring guidance to answer some of these questions
1. Who are the leaders that are changing how we farm in Minnesota?
2. How are farmers, chefs, and food activists in relationship with the land in Minnesota?
3. What work are folks doing that gives us hope for the future of food?
4. What food histories and current stories are not being told?

This volunteer role asks that you're comfortable reaching out to people in the community to schedule/plan dates to interview and shoot on-location.

This role has immense opportunity for connecting with leaders in the local, national, and international Slow Food community.

You will be expected to understand the values of Slow Food Minnesota, how you want to be in relationship with those values, and uphold that in your interactions with the community.

Mission Statement

"We are a 'bridge builder' in the social change ecosystem. Maybe our role isn't so programmatic, but looking at how we can serve as the hub or the touch point to connect all the work that's happening. Finding people doing this amazing work and bringing them together. We need to be recognized in the space as a better partner, willing and interested in being both allies and accomplices to people doing the good work." - Dan Mueller, Slow Food USA
