Animal Care League has just launched our Pets & People Support Program (PPSP), and we'd love for you to create your own Food Drive to collect pet food donations for this program! The main focus of the PPSP is to help members of our community retain their pets so they can remain in their loving homes. And since we're working to support both ends of the leash, we also provide humans with hand sanitizer, face masks, a food care package from Beyond Hunger, etc. to ensure that they also remain healthy. For more information about the PPSP, please follow this link: http://www.animalcareleague.org/ppsp-info.html We hope that this program inspires you and your team as much as it does ours! Below is some information on how to get your team started, and how you can inspire others to donate to the cause. Getting started:
- There's an ACL Pet Resource Program flyer attached to this email for your convenience
- Here's a great link from BFAS to help you plan your food drive: https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/pet-food-drive-how-organize-one
- Cat food (unopened/dry or wet/adult or senior formulas)
- Face masks for humans (unopened/unused/clean/ reusable or disposable)
- Disinfecting wipes for humans (unopened/unused)
- Hand sanitizer for humans (unopened/unused)
