Students are navigating social isolation, new platforms for learning, and other pandemic impacts this year. Join Cambridge School Volunteers to be that dependable adult who is a grounding, weekly presence in an adolescent's life, by becoming a remote volunteer tutor/mentor. If you can
devote a full hour every week, on a consistent basis for the rest of the year;
are a good listener;
are open to working with an adolescent 11-14 years old; and
have at least a little experience with videoconferencing tools (you'll use Google Meet)
have a basic understanding of math and language skills at this grade level (don't worry, we'll support you with curriculum details)
live in, go to school in, or have ties to Cambridge and Greater Boston
then we'd like to invite you to apply to be a remote volunteer with CSV, in a one-to-one role.
