Students are navigating social isolation, new platforms for learning, and other pandemic impacts this year. Join Cambridge School Volunteers to be that dependable adult who is a grounding, weekly presence in an adolescent's life, by becoming a remote volunteer tutor/mentor. If you can

  • devote a full hour every week, on a consistent basis for the rest of the year;
  • are a good listener;
  • are open to working with an adolescent 11-14 years old; and
  • have at least a little experience with videoconferencing tools (you'll use Google Meet)
  • have a basic understanding of math and language skills at this grade level (don't worry, we'll support you with curriculum details)
  • live in, go to school in, or have ties to Cambridge and Greater Boston
then we'd like to invite you to apply to be a remote volunteer with CSV, in a one-to-one role.
