Feed Thy Neighbor currently cooks from a kitchen in our home, 300 meals per day. This opportunity can be anytime between from 11am and 430pm or if you are not available for the entire time. Skills are good to have but not required. Tony is a good teacher and show you everything, he just has a hard time standing up for too long. We usually prefer to have no more then (3) volunteers per day. You will be prepping, cooking and plating all meals for distribution. We have a large kitchen but using precautions is always expected. We provide gloves, hair nets and plenty of hand sanitizer. We are hoping to get a commercial kitchen or new space to cook soon and expand our efforts but for now we just need the help. We deliver to several families in their homes that are down on their luck, out of work, disabled and elderly who are unable to cook for themselves. We also provide over 100 meals daily to homeless around Naples.
