The Mid-Atlantic Field Representative for the Endangered Species Coalition is seeking volunteer activists to help protect endangered species in the Mid-Atlantic region through grassroots advocacy and lobbying in both the local, state, and federal government. Volunteer opportunities include emailing and calling legislators, writing editorials and/or letters to the editor, lobbying legislators, and organizing events.

As the guardian of the Endangered Species Act of 1973 (ESA), we work to ensure that the Act itself as well as the species it protects, can be passed on safely into the future. Through education, outreach and citizen involvement, we work to protect endangered species and the special places where they live.
Description
The Endangered Species Coalition is a national network of hundreds of conservation, scientific, education, religious, sporting, outdoor recreation, business and community organizations working to protect our nation's disappearing wildlife and last remaining wild places.
