Crossroads Jobs is seeking individuals who would like to serve in a board member capacity for this small but mighty organization. Board members lead legal, fiduciary, funding and strategic roles. Gaining financial resources to support and grow our staff is the primary near-term goal. Board Members are not expected to perform tactical or operational staff functions. The Board supports the founder, who is the highly effective Executive Director. CJ desires Board Members who want to partner with the "most useful and unique non-profit currently in Loudoun" in a way that leads to personal dignity and hope for the job seekers and to decreased social costs for all.

Board positions are two year commitments.

Crossroads Jobs provides individually focused employment services to Loudoun area residents who are unemployed or underemployed. We offer a source of ready-to-work applicants for local businesses. Our services are free to both job seekers and employers.

Our program is structured in a way that we get to know our applicants, and we communicate with local businesses to learn about available job openings and ongoing or upcoming needs. We then work to match the right person to the right job: a win for the applicant, the employer and the community.

Crossroads Jobs has offices in Leesburg and Sterling, offering job placement assistance in English and Spanish.
