At Unlocking Futures*, our goal is to aid in breaking generational cycles of poverty and ensure the educational success of all students. Due to the impact of COVID-19 on students, it is especially important this year to provide additional resources and mentorship to students in under-resourced school systems.
Since March 2020, we have transitioned our programs to be entirely online. Because of this, we also need to make our evidence-based curriculum more user-friendly and engaging.
We are looking for a volunteer skilled in Cartoon Animation. As a volunteer, you will assist us in creating cartoon animations for pieces of our curriculum.

Unlocking Futures, formally known as Youth at Risk is a not-for-profit, volunteer driven organization committed to transforming the chaotic lives of young people through persistent and compassionate mentoring. Since 1985, Unlocking futures has helped HS students make college an option: we take them from failing grades to passing grades; and/or passing grades to top grades. We give them tools to win in life such as a Goal-directed focus and Shift at-risk behaviors to responsible behaviors
