One of the brightest stars on the 501C3 nonprofit landscape is Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center, a FREE, behavioral, outpatient, harm-reduction, innovative, pleasant-to-be-in Addiction Treatment Center on Chicago's west side.
We have remained open throughout the pandemic and have NO CASES of COVID because of our strict screening protocol and ability to remain safe in the middle of chaos, panic, and rampant plague. We will be happy to discuss this with any curious parties, but the work that we need done, an audit, need not be done on premises anyway, so the point is moot.
We need someone to voluntarily, or at least economically, perform a GAAP audit on our financials near the end of February so that we can have the results early in the year. So a quick turnaround will be essential which will be facilitated by the fact that our auditor of the last three years will now be doing a "pre-audit" so that the financials, books, and evidences will be in good order and ready to be gone over by a second, qualified set of eyes. Prior audits are available for examination.
Our center is a very pleasant place to be, bustling with positive activity and introducing innovation after innovation to an industry that has been stagnant for many decades. We are the technicolor that's invading the grayscale of addiction treatment from all sides and we need a like-minded creative individual who wants to "pay it forward" and do a solid 12th step on behalf of all those who still suffer "out there" from the ravages of addiction.

Our clients and clinicians create therapeutic alliances that design and execute personalized programs of recovery that co-exist side-by-side personal development and growth goals. We believe that recovery is a process that requires meeting individuals where they are at as well as addressing their environmental life circumstances such as: education, employment readiness, interpersonal relationships, and social reintegrative abilities and activities.
