Willis Dady often needs help completing renovation projects on new locations. Our staff have their regular responsibilities and cannot often take time to help get a new location ready for clients. Volunteers may be asked to participate in a variety of tasks depending on their availability and skill-level.
Responsibilities include communicating with the Volunteer Coordinator your interest and skill-level, completing the specific renovation/construction project assigned (including, but not limited to, painting, flooring, installation), and creating a list of larger tasks that need to be done by a skilled professional.
This volunteer must be 18 y/o age or older to perform these duties without parent/guardian supervision Those aged 14-17 may assist their parent/guardian on certain tasks with pre-approval from the Volunteer Coordinator. Volunteers must be willing and able to tackle hands-on repair/maintenance/cleaning and possess reliability and trustworthiness. Experience is not required but is appreciated!

Our goal is to help as many struggling people as possible to avoid needing shelter altogether, and for those who do enter shelter to help move them into permanent housing as quickly as possible.
