Kids Connection Haiti (KCH) is a nonprofit that support young adults that have aged out of the orphanage system in Haiti. We help change lives by empowering our participants through education, life skills and employment.

Although we have many different volunteer positions available with KCH, we are currently recruiting volunteers who are bilingual and can translate from Haitian Kreole or French to English. The objective is for each student to personally hand write a Thank you/Holiday letter, translate the letters, and send both versions to their sponsor.

The volunteer must have advanced skills in reading and writing in French or Haitian Kreole and English languages. This is a virtual opportunity that can be done at home, which allows for you to have a flexible schedule.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please email me for details on how to get started. If you have any questions, please email me at jude@kidsconnectionhaiti.org

Mission Statement

Kids Connection Haiti (KCH) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing integrated services to orphans in Haiti who seek support for their transition from orphanages to independent lives. KCH provides these young men and women with training, education and mentoring to attain self-sufficiency.

Description

In Haiti 800 babies are born daily. From those 800 babies, only 24 will go to elementary school, 10 will go to high school and only 1 will make it to university, and may or may not graduate. Our goal is to provide life-changing opportunities for orphaned youth in Haiti to break the cycle of poverty and to contribute to sustainable and financial independent lives. Do you want to become a part of this and help a student achieving their goals?
