Mission Statement
Eager2Learn aims to provide students of all socio-economic levels exposure to STEM topics, such as robotics and engineering, in order to bridge the gap between low-income STEM involvement and give prospective students the learning they desire.
Description
Eager2Learn started back in June 2019 by high school sophomore Parv Chordiya. Wanting to help expose low-income students to STEM topics, Eager2Learn partnered with The Boys and Girls Club. In partnership, Eager2Learn hosted Lego Robotics and Programming classes at two different Boys and Girls Club locations throughout the year. However, due to the COVID 19 school closure back in March 2020, these in-person classes were put on hold. During the summer, Eager2Learned transitioned to an online learning system ran by a group of high school volunteers. We are looking for more volunteers to run these online classes.
