Made In Her Image is looking for a Web-Developer to help monitor our website by regularly checking for issues and mistakes and keeping it updated and relevant.

Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for someone with experience designing and building websites (in squarespace, potentially wix) - revamping our current website ( MADEINHERIMAGE.ORG)
  • Web Designer Responsibilities:
    • Conceptualizing creative ideas with Made In Her Image.
    • Testing and improving the design of the website.
    • Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
    • Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
    • Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients.
    • Working with different content management systems.
    • Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps and wireframes.
    • Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
    • Designing sample pages including colors and fonts.
    • Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure

Description

Founded in 2018, Made In Her Image is a non-profit movement striving towards social equity in the film, media and entertainment industry for girls & women of color. We serve youths aged 8 to 18 by curating engaging programming to foster media literacy and empowerment. Additionally, we offer programming and educative media for women who are breaking into the industry.
