Individuals 55 years+ needed to deliver nutritionally packaged meals to Cincinnati homebound seniors. This opportunity involves the volunteer picking up prepackaged meals and using their vehicle to drop off meals at the designated clients homes, congregate locations or other sites (avoiding contact of others by dropping off at clients doorstep or following instructions in place for social distancing) Volunteers will have a specific delivery route to follow and serve as a friendly check-in for these clients by phone when making drop offs.
This very essential volunteer role is especially needed right now due to COVID-19. Please help us, help the most vulnerable population in our city. All CDC guidelines are being followed. Volunteers will have the chance to complete a trial delivery route on their own before deciding if this opportunity is the right one for them.
