Flutter and Firebase Developer Needed for Innovative Interface

We are looking for talented web wizards to join our team in creating and maintaining the back end infrastructure of the Sponsor Humanity mobile app. The concept for our mobile app was inspired by the impact of covid-19. We are creating an innovative interface that will facilitate direct assistance between its users in order to meet the basic need of food in this time when so many have lost their income due to the pandemic crisis.

The wire-frames are complete, and we are now focusing on coding, unit-testing, and front-end UI completion with integration into the SH database.

If you have some mobile application experience and know Flutter and/or Firebase or want to learn it, we want to talk with you. We are searching for a volunteer mobile application developer to join the Sponsor Humanity ( www.sponsorhumanity.org ) development team that can afford to spend 5 to 10 hours a week on this project.

You will work with our emerging organization to develop a new mobile application that will help enable our vision and mission. If you’re passionate about mobile platforms and translating code into user-friendly apps, we would like to talk. As a mobile app developer, you’ll collaborate with internal teams to develop functional features and capabilities for our mobile applications. We are open to all levels of skills and experience including students and retired software professionals.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, specification, design, code, test, release and support)
• Produce fully functional mobile applications using Flutter & Firebase
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions/designs
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
• Assist in the specification of and design of the UI
• Some work experience as a Mobile developer and willing to learn Flutter and Firebase
• Familiarity with OOP design principles
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small team

This platform will be current, fresh, fun, and easy to use. We will facilitate the direct assistance of folks in need who are struggling to provide food for their families and themselves.
