Amazing Grace Food Pantry is a 100% volunteer organization. The types of jobs, duties and activities vary depending upon the day. To name a few: receiving and sorting donated products, cleaning, warehouse organization, assembling client food boxes, bringing food boxes to client vehicles.
As a small nonprofit, there are also many other areas where talent and expertise can help us to meet the growing need of food insecure families. If you have any special skills, such as graphic design, marketing, grant writing or information technology, let us know.
Needs and shifts may vary. Please inquire to see if your availability is compatible. We look forward to meeting you!

To help in the fight against hunger in North Texas through Christ's love and the generosity of the community. As an all volunteer organization, we provide free food to families in need in Collin County, Texas.
Description
Amazing Grace Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit volunteer organization providing free food to families in need in Collin County, Texas. With the help of community support and 100% volunteers, AGFP provides food to hundreds of families. Many come every week, others visit according to their needs. 2020 has been a record year with so many people out of work for the first time. AGFP welcomes them with open hearts and lots of food.
Starting in 2006 as a small pantry providing support for congregation members of Amazing Grace Fellowship Baptist Church, the pantry grew to support dozens of families. Today, Amazing Grace Food Pantry serves a fast growing number of people each month with the equivalent to an overflowing grocery cart. Estimates of cost savings to families is over $450 per month. Many hard working families are struggling to make ends meet. It's a privilege to serve God in this way, to lighten the load with providing weekly groceries to families in need and making their visit to the pantry a pleasant experience.
Amazing Grace Food Pantry continues to meet the challenge of the growing need in Collin County. We are thankful to the North Texas Food Bank for presenting us with an Award of Excellence in Service for our response during the COVID-19 pandemic.
