Adopt-a-Park: North Mountain - Project Coordinator
AZSA Mission To create and support cutting-edge, project-based sustainability solutions in Arizona
Vision and Mission - Conservation Priority
Vision: Provide access to open space for all, particularly those without the adequate means to access natural areas across Arizona.
Mission: Support native ecosystems, maintain and restore our desert habitats, protect biological diversity, and inspire youth to engage in responsible outdoor recreation within Arizona parks and preserves.
Objectives - Adopt-a-Park: North Mountain Project AZSA adopted North Mountain Preserve in North Phoenix three years ago as part of AZSA’s Adopt-a-Park Program. We have built and maintained great relationships with the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation department that works in that area of the city. By working to maintain a clean and beautiful North Mountain Preserve in Phoenix we are promoting sustainable communities and providing valuable outdoor spaces for native plants and animals and supporting the well-being of those living within the community.
