Do you love to sew? Do you like the idea of leaving a lasting memory for the family of our patients? We are looking for volunteers to sew Remembrance Bears or Pillows from the patients favorite article of clothing that we can give to the family member when the patient passes. This is a very memorable way to help the family when dealing with the loss. All the supplies needed would be provided. Not only by volunteering for the families, but you also become a very powerful voice of advocacy about hospice care when talking to your friends and family. Every act of kindness or service to our families is equally important and our volunteers are the key to good patient care.

Mission Statement
Our Mission...serving people with compassion and dignity. At Good Shepherd Hospice, we believe that health care is more than just a diagnosis and a treatment. It's a daily exercise in making this moment...this today...the very best it can be. We're here to help our patients achieve that goal - physically, mentally, spiritually...and for whatever that means individually. We believe that in the passing of a person’s life, there are also extraordinary opportunities for compassion, reconciliation, spiritual healing, and renewal. Our Volunteers play a vital role in our Hospice program. From working in the office, to creating special projects at home, to visiting to provide companionship and ease loneliness, Good Shepherd Hospice Volunteers make special moments happen again and again for the patients and families we serve.
