Do you have a trained certified pet that you would like to use to make a difference in a patient's life? If so we have patients who need you. We need someone to take their trained pet into our nursing facilities/or homes to help brighten our patients' day. Not only by volunteering for our patients but you also become a powerful voice of advocacy about hospice care when talking to your friends and family. Every act of kindness or service is equally important and our volunteers are the key.

Mission Statement

Our Mission...serving people with compassion and dignity. At Good Shepherd Hospice, we believe that health care is more than just a diagnosis and a treatment. It's a daily exercise in making this moment...this today...the very best it can be. We're here to help our patients achieve that goal - physically, mentally, spiritually...and for whatever that means individually. We believe that in the passing of a person’s life, there are also extraordinary opportunities for compassion, reconciliation, spiritual healing, and renewal. Our Volunteers play a vital role in our Hospice program. From working in the office, to creating special projects at home, to visiting to provide companionship and ease loneliness, Good Shepherd Hospice Volunteers make special moments happen again and again for the patients and families we serve.
