The ideal KRM Board member is a passionate Christian leader who desires to serve those experiencing homelessness in Kitsap County. Board members are community ambassadors for KRM who have make a personal philanthropic commitment, and partner with staff to raise funds throughout the community. Board members are influential in the communities they serve.
The role of the board is to partner with and provide guidance to the executive director in developing and monitoring local strategies to deliver services, raise funds in accordance with the organizational goals, operate within the approved budget, and along with the executive serve as a voice to the community.
The board is currently meeting monthly on a Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30pm. Board terms are for 3 years.
Service on the board is completely voluntary and without compensation.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

We exist to assist the homeless and needy on the Kitsap Peninsula, who desire change, to experience the love of Christ and restoration of body, mind and spirit.
We provide clothing, meals, shelter, and hygiene for homeless and poor men, women, and children on the Kitsap Peninsula. We also provide case management and verteran's advocacy support, helping people get comnected to the support and services they need.
