Capital Caring Health is a non- profit who provide specialized end of life care to about 1400 patients each day, including pediatrics, geriatrics and veterans. We provide this service throughout Virginia, DC and parts of Maryland to include 4 inpatient centers in addition to most of our patients who live in their residential homes. We have been proudly been helping the sickest of the sick for over 40 years.
STOCKINGS FOR HOSPICE PATIENTS
These goody bags will help lift the spirit to a hospice patient. Please see the information below:
Directions
- Begin by getting a goody bag/basket (dollar stores are great places to get one)
- Fill the goody bag/basket with items that will bring comfort to a patient.(Ideas below, be creative too)
- Drop off the goody bag/basket to the Maryland office or arrange a pick up (PG County and Montgomery County only)
- Mail the goody bag/basket the address if you not in reach of a drop off location (please put in mail no later than March 20 and mail to the location below)

Capital Caring Health would truthfully not exist without our volunteers. In 1977, this organization was founded by a group of dedicated volunteers, deeply committed to making a profound impact in our community. Capital Caring Health provides hospice, palliative and advanced illness care of the highest quality to patients of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay. We serve pediatrics to geriatrics. We have two in patient centers and serve most patients in the comfort of their home. Volunteers are key to the service we provide. We train our volunteers and support them along the way. They are part of our team.
